  • Registration for IBC2012 Kobe opens on January 4th, 2012, with a deadline for the reduced "Early Bird" registration fees of April 30th, 2012.
    Online Registration will be available until July 31st, 2012 with fees of on-site registration (see "after May 1st" below chart)
    After August 1st, only on-site registration will be availabe.
  • All quoted fees are in Yens, the Japanese currency. Payment is also required in Yens.
  • Registration for the conference is required to be completed for the participation on Short courses.
    Registration for Short course is from Short courses.

The Registration fee includes:

  • Lunch on four days of the conference (not on Wednesday)
  • Coffee and Tea on four days of the conference (not on Wednesday)
  • Conference pack
  • Attendance at the Welcome Reception (Sunday, August 26th)
  • Full access to all scientific sessions of the conference
  • Transportation (except for accompanying)
Note
  1. All registration fee must be paid in Japanese Yen by bank transfer or credit card.
  2. Students and Graduate students are required to submit an official letter or a document for identification. Please send it by fax or e-mail (PDF file) to the secretariat office.

  3. For those who reserved the accommodation from the conference official website (Travel and Accommodations,) Round Port Liner tickets for 4 days will be provided.

Registration ID

When you completed your registration on-line, a confirmation message will be sent to your registered e-mail address. The message includes the registered information and your Registration ID. Please keep it until the end of the coference. It will be needed for Short courses registration, making inquiries and making a bank remittance of your registration fee.

Registration is not completed without payment. Payment should be made by one of the following :

  1. Handling fees for bank transfer should be covered by participants.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation should be notified to the secretariat by e-mail (ibc2012@secreatriat.ne.jp) with the participant's name and his/her Registration ID.

Notes: Refunds will be made after the conference. Bank transfer charge is deducted from the amount.

Receipt

An electronic receipt will be sent by email to all PAID participants after August 1st, 2012.
If you want an ordinary signed receipt, please ask it at the registration desk on site


VISA

Anyone entering Japan must have a valid passport. In addition, participants from particular countries must have a visa issued by Japanese Embassy or Consulate Generals in their countries. Consult your local Japanese Embassy or Consulate Generals as to whether or not a visa is required. It could sometimes take more than a month to obtain a visa. The Secretariat can issue a letter of invitation and necessary documents upon request to those who need a visa. In order to issue an invitation letter, participants must complete the registration beforehand.
